Tomorrow is Groundhog Day, with much attention focused on a large rodent in Punxsutawney, PA…will “Phil” see his shadow, foretelling six more weeks of winter, or will it be cloudy, meaning winter is over?
I know some people dislike groundhogs, blaming them for damage to their gardens, yards, etc., but I enjoy watching them. We had a groundhog raising young under our shed last summer. Although they were awfully close to the road, it was great to see the little ones exploring. (And as far as I can tell, they were all fine.)

Great photos. Love the one of the groundhog staring at the statue!
Glad you enjoy my state’s famous rodent!
Only you could make a groundhog look so good! Thank you for sharing your beautiful insight.
Blessings...
Happy GroundhogDay!
